Windows XP Not Booting
So I turned on my comp and Windows XP didn’t boot, it comes to the screen that prompts safe mode/networking last working/normal and I picked last working config and the comp reboot back to the same screen. All options reboot to the same thing.

Vista-slow start up
My 1 year old compaq on vista seems to take forever to start up compared to a friends on xp.
I’ve used ashampoo to tune start up and unnecessary services which helped but it still seems slow.
Anti virus/spyware all upto date (Panda).
What else could I try? Do I need more than 512 RAM?

How do you synchronize two folders over your network?
I have tried Microsoft’s SyncToy for some time, but I have noticed that it keeps failing to fully synchronize a folder on my HDD with that on another system. This is quite a killer fault for an application you might be using to backup valuable data.

hard drive not detecting
ok heres what happend.
My dell demension 3000 80GB western Digital hard drive died on me so i took it out and replaced it with a western digital 40GB hard drive (temporary) until i get my new drive.
