I installed Ubuntu, and it asks me for a username…
…and password. I remember the password but not the username? I don’t even remember it asking me to type in a username. Is there anyway to get it back without re-installing it?

While Burning DVD+DL the computer froze and I was
forced to restart…DVD doesn’t reconize disks anymore? What is the fix here?? This has happened to me before and the only way that I found to fix it was to reinstall the entire operating system again and it worked fine….i don’t want to have to go through all that mess again….is there anyway to fix [...]

Google now in bed with Internet Explorer not FireFox?
So I have always seen Google push FireFox as the browser it supports with it’s toolbar.
Seems they have now moved to Internet Explorer, have Google and Mozilla fallen out?

Ok, so this is a stupid question but you know by now I’m not the sharpest knife in the chandelier lol.
I am putting the finishing touches on my daughter’s computer (she’s 6). I downloaded Spybot and Avast4. Avast4 shows up in both my admin account and on her user account, but spybot only shows [...] -
