Different CPU temps on dual core
as it says on the tin really.
bit more info:
on the stuff that came with the Heatsink and using the bios to control the fan to around 40C, but the difference in core temps is around 10C, Core 1 temp 50 – 53C, core 2 temp 40 – 42, what is the fault here?

CPU or Motherboard
Hi, I will try to give all relevant info. Computer powers up but no POST or image onscreen. The memory is corsair and has lights to indicate usage (I know flash) but no lights work. Memory tried in another PC ok.
I presume it is a fault with either the MB or CPU

bus speeds
Hi, I was just wondering, what do bus speeds depend on? what determines them, like the GPU core and GPU memory
GPU core (3D) – 540MHz
GPU memory – 702MHz
I have a quad core processor 2.40ghz
What made me wonder about this was that a friend of mine has a dual core computer yet his bus speeds are [...] -

Intel vs AMD
I’m looking at upgrading my desktop in the next few months, and so the age-old question springs to mind. Intel or AMD CPUs?
I’ll admit, my experience with latter-day intel chips is limited. I bailed on them a few years back, and have built exclusively with AMD since then. I prize the stability and efficiency they [...] -

CPU different core temperatures.
Hi,
I just noticed that the two cores in my CPU have very different temperatures. Core 1 is 34 degrees celcius, and core 2 is 22 degrees celcius. I’m not sure if it’s normal or not, because I never had dual core before. I checked the processes using most CPU in task manager, and checked affinity, [...]
