Um. I hate it when I find a web page where someone has the same problem I have, and then someone else (like me) simply chimes in with "I have that problem too"... instead of posting a solution. but yeah, I have this problem too.

 Stay happy with your old computer as it still has a lot of good life left in it. My laptop's much older and running well. It's a Compaq nx9010 and it's as old as Moses, but hey like I said it works well and I can still do a hell of a lot of stuff on it. Be practical and be shepherd and not sheep. There are just millions of sheep out there that think the lastest is best and that their lives are going get better purchasing it. It's all bull. When your laptop kicks the bucket then you can think of buying yourself a new one, which will be in another couple of years minimum, and by then computers will have changed for the better even more and be even more cheaper.

Good luck

We may be having the same problem... Kaspersky ate most of my installation files, rendering them useless... Someone needs to fix this... my AVG free installer, a 65MB exe file was reduced to a mere 168KB... and all installation files were corrupt... Kaspersky needs to fix this... for now... I have to switch to another antivirus if I would like to save my files from misdetection and corruption.

How soon will depend on how badly its fragmented. Simply get the latest version of Diskeeper, set it to run on auto mode and you can go about your other work. It defrag even large drives that are very badly fragmented, efficently and fast.

These are the following factors why this is happening:
1. Vista sucks.
2. OSX buyers are usually well to do people who don't know anything about a thing on fixing their computers, OSX has been dumb out for them. Most of these people has not felt the economic crunch yet so they're still off buy their Macs.
3. Linux has gained some popularity and they have even started pre-installing into laptops nowadays.

After some security incidents in our company we had to implement e-mail monitoring system.

The system captures all e-mail messages to a central database providing very robust searching by necessary parameters as well as archiving for saving diskspace.

The tool we chose was Archive Manager http://www.scriptlogic.com/products/archive-manager

It was a great choice for our environment!

The best thing is that now, the new version, FrostWire 4.17, works for Windows Vista without any major problem. And, ofcourse, that it is free.
