Hey Guys, As you will more then likely realise after you read my question, IT is not my strong point lol!!

Anyway Q, What is the difference between windows xp service pack 1, 2 and three?

The reason im asking is i have recently bought a HP 2133 notebook which comes with a linux os and im looking to change it to XP. the only worry i have is that the "copy" of windows i have is XP sp1 and the only guide i can find for insalling windows over linux on the HP 2133 is for installing service pack 2. so what is the difference? and will it cause me any problems? any help appreciated.
