Hi guys have sorted most of my new build but cant decide between two equall priced cpus, the
E8600 (or maybe the cheaper E8500) or
the Q6600
ones dual core and ones quad as u guys will know
mainly use the desktop for gaming so prob the E8600
but will i notice any difference if i get the Q6600 ?
will i get a drop in performance when gaming using the quad core as games arnt designed for it ?
(or should i get the E8500 and overclock it?)
also
should i stay with xp (have one left) and wait for the new i7
or pay for a new vista o/s?
