I have read somewhere that there are programmes you can download to optimise your PC and improve your download speed.

I have a couple of registry cleaners which I regularly use. Howver is there such a programme that can realy improve broadband/speed up your download speeds?

I am currently with Orange who were very honest when I went to them. Although the package offers up to 8mb, they said the best they could probably do is between 6 and 7mb. The best I have actualy ever get is about 3.6 mb.
