RAM problem causing crashes

I replaced the RAM in my PC a few months ago with a Transcend 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) to a EVGA AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard. The PC will crash when I play a newer video game or when I run a stress test on the RAM. Should I replace the RAM again or should I change the timing settings?
