i cant find sound driver
just did a new install of windows and am using a new sound card..well second hand so i don’t have the cd bin on sound blasters website but everyone i try don’t work (wont install)
and the drivers take 10 long minutes to download from that site

motherboard overload protection
are there any add on devices to protect the motherboard from power supply surges like when the power supply blows up causing a possible momentary surge as happened to me,there was quite a firework display of blue lightning like flashes before it died. i do use anti surge device on power input to pc

refurbished pc a horror storey
i bought a refurbished pc for £200 from a magazine that guarantees its advertisement’s ok.
ive had it about 8 months and it blew the power supply,so had it apart and fitted a new one now works fine again.
refurbished? i think not as the inside was caked with dust and other crud that would have taken [...] -
