AutoCad 2006 will not run

I installed AutoCad 2006 and went to run it. When it starts up a message appears that it encountered a problem and when you click ok it terminates AutoCad. This happens everytime you start AutoCad, I can’t even get as far as to enter the keycode. Can anyone shed light on the situation and how I can fix it? Thanks:confused:
