Windows Keeps Crashing, and I’m getting a BSOD!

I have recently been having a problem with my computer. It will boot fine, load up and generally work until I have finished what i am doing without any problems.

However more and more often i am getting a problem where the whole computer freezes, all the open windows don’t respond, it freezes for 3-5mins then… BSOD.

Unfortunately its one of those quick ones that shuts down super fast so i haven’t managed to get an error code yet.

I imagine, although I am not sure that there is a problem with the hard-drive as I have virus checked and done just about everything and found that there is no malware on the computer. So i figured maybe corrupt files or a hardware problem on the hard disk??

Any advice, if possible I would like to solve this without having to reload Vista.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
