I have Aim 6.8.12.4 and have been using AIM for 8 years. Each time there is an upgrade which has chat logging, I check it and go on my merry way. Yesterday I checked my logs and found out that it had deleted the last month’s worth of chats. How can I recover the missing chat log? There was a particular word used in the chat log which will only show up there, if there is a program that can search my computer that way.

Also was the chat log overwritten or deleted by AIM? Or was it via Windows? I’m kinda scared it is a Windows problem. I’ve been trying all sorts of programs to find the file but I can’t. I need to find out fast how to recover the chat log.
