Dead laptop – no sign of life
I have a Toschiba "Satellite" laptoop. When I press the bootup button nothing happens and no lights are visible. The mains/battery unit is working and delivering 19.8 volts. how do you stop utorrent checking files on so everytime i disconnect my external HD and plug it back in again it doesnt have to check every single file again

Laptop Battery Not Recognized.
Hi,
Yesterday I booted up my laptop as normal to find that the battery symbol in the taskbar has a red cross over it. When I hovered over the icon it said "No battery recognized" or something similar, yet when I click the icon it says the battery is plugged in and charging.
