Help screen blank with PC running

I need help…
monday…labour day here…both in house PC died…one had HDD problems which are now fixed…
but the other was victim of DDR tampering …inserted upside down by teenage yougin’…but since…I got new RAM the computer seems to boot but screens remains blank….I purchased a new video card…with no result…broke down and bought new sata [...] -

What I’m running is XP sp2 on a custom built computer.
