Vista OUT- XP IN!
My desk top PC having gone up in expensive smoke, I decided to do what I have intended to do & got a laptop to replace it.
PC World flogged me a Tosh Equium complete with Vista Home Premium – OK I thought to have the latest Wndows OS (Fool that I was!).
In my opinion Vista is rubbish (my HP 2110 Printer, according to Vista has no connection even tho’ it prints)! (Now I periodically get a message saying there is difficulty etc.with connecting to the scanner even tho’ I’ve not asked it to).:mad:Grrr!
So I want to go back to the good old XP.
I looked at the uSoft Virtual PC so that I could have XP without losing the data I’ve accumulated
via Vista.
But no – the Home Premium OS is not allowed to have their Virtual PC!
uSoft won’t help because it was installed by Tosh
& I can get no joy out of them either.
So now I come to the bit that matters- HELP!!
I am not competent enough to go down the "Dual Boot" path & am somewhat reluctant to chuck 400 quids worth of kit, about a month old, in
the bin.
Any help or suggestions gratefully received.
