Yesterday through my door came my new Sony DRU-190S S-ATA DVD ROM Drive…

I unplugged my old one which was IDE thinking it was caput until i read an earlier thread lol, but a bit late now.
I connected up my new S-ATA drive and upon Boot-up i got a message saying it was ACPI Incompatible (I understand this is power configuration). I then logged into windows and my drive seems non existant (ie, windows dosnt recognise it, its not under my computer etc). So i went into device manager, it detects the drive but has an [error code 19] "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged". I followed this error codes instructions from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123 but nothing is happening and im getting very frustrated, The drive is connected properly as it spins, opens, lights work etc but still nothing…
