problem since installing automatic windows update
Turned my computer on this morning and there was a reminder on it that there were updates for windows service pack three that needed updating.I then clicked on the icon and completed the necessary update.I was then instructed to restart my computer which I did and windows has failed to start up ever since.I get [...]

Installing New ram and not sure if it’s the right kind
I have MS windows XXP SP2
Intel Xeon CPU 2.40GHz, 1.0GB ram, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, and it’s a work station.
Can I upgrade my ram with Kingston (2) 2GB DDR2 chips?
Someone before had mentioned I needed a differnt type.
Please advise if these will work or if I need a differnt type.

Exteral Maxtor HD not working
I have a 120gb maxtor that powers up and ticks.
Any suggestions?
If it is the drive it self is it possible to take it to a shop and have the files recovered or how to do it myserf.
